Strategic connections to wise actions in the community

The project "Strategic Relations for Wise Actions in the Community" was funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund under the ENPI Hungary-Slovakia-Romania Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2007-2013 (www.huskroua-cbc. Net), and received a total budget of € 84,185.

The aim of the project was to promote the integration of health education into the school curriculum (Romania), the promotion of traditional culture (Slovakia) and the promotion of palliative volunteering (Ukraine).

The target groups were experts in all three topics (15), 100 high school students, 300 participants in traditional cultural activities in Slovakia, 10 palliative care volunteers, and 12 members of partner organizations.

The main activities of the project were cross-border networking activities (thematic workshops, international conferences, meetings), local activities (demonstration sessions in schools, events based on traditional culture, development of a palliative volunteering guide) and organizational development activities.

The role of AGES in the project was to coordinate the development of the partners' organizational development plans and to support the project management team with its own expertise.
